Fostering authentic inclusion requires more than standard communications. With 11 global, employee-led COIs spanning diversity dimensions from age to gender identity, eBay sought a scalable yet personalised approach. Their commitment to workplace inclusion has earned them recognition with a perfect score on the 2025 Corporate Equality Index.


Our journey with eBay began with evaluating their COI communication framework to enhance equity and impact. Working closely with stakeholders, we developed a strategy that honours each community's cultural heritage while aligning with eBay's evolving brand identity and core value of "being for everyone." The focus centres on creating flexible deliverables tailored to each COI's unique needs.

We modernised the asset suite with both digital and physical touchpoints: from animated GIFs and Zoom backgrounds to frontline staff materials and culturally-sensitive merchandise. Each deliverable maximises engagement while ensuring equitable resource allocation, expanding reach beyond digital-only communications.



Through strategic development and careful consideration of community needs, this new communications framework will celebrate diversity with consistency, modernising eBay's internal communications while strengthening their commitment to a workplace where diversity thrives.
